3rd year PhD student wins poster prize at BSI Congress
Congratulations to Maria Stacey for her award-winning presentation at the Annual Congress of the British Society for Immunology.
Cardiff student Maria Stacey was awarded the prize for best poster in the Cytokine and Chemokine section at the BSI Congress 2011, and was awarded her prize in the plenary session.
Her winning poster was entitled: "A tissue restricted antiviral function of interleukin-22 in murine cytomegalovirus infection".
Maria is a 3rd Year PhD student at the Institute of Infection and Immunity, School of Medicine, supervised by Dr Ian Humphreys and Professor Gavin Wilkinson.
The BSI Congress was held at the Arena and Convention Centre in Liverpool from 5-8 December 2011.
